Cougars Softball Club

Founded: 1985Members today: 150 + players and committeeClub rooms: Thornlie Football & Sports Club Berehaven Avenue Thornlie (Walter Padbury Reserve)
Cougars Softball Club first originated back in 1985 starting with 1 Junior team and 1 Senior Team both winning premierships in their inaugural season. Since then we have continued success and growth over the years and have provided an outlet within our Community for people to be involved in sport
As a non-profit Club operating for over 33 years, our dedicated group of volunteers are focused on the same common goals to ensure that children and adults alike are healthy and enjoy participating in a team sport.
In 2001 the club moved to Thornlie Football & Sportsman Club and are grateful to be accepted as part of the Sporting body and the culture it provides to all their members. On display inside the club we have our Trophy Cabinet displaying our success of the years. During the Clubs inception, we are proud that some of our Junior and Senior players have had the opportunity to represent Western Australia in the State Championships in the Under 15’s, 17’s, 19’s and Open Divisions, competing against some of the best players in Australia.
We are always looking for Juniors players, Senior players and Coaches to come and join our exciting club.
