Thornlie Junior football club

Thornlie Junior Football Club was established in 1961 and is proud of it’s 400+ members. We are a non- profit organisation – all the money we receive (through registration, sponsorship, fundraising and canteen) is put straight back to you, our members. Everyone at the Club is here to either play AFL or watch their children play AFL. However, for many of us, it’s a very important part of our social life as well. We hope you find the time to become more involved in the Club and make it a part of your lifestyle. The Committee which runs the Club consists of parents and the Club is always looking for new committee members. We aim to continue to develop all children in AFL.
THORNLIE LIONS CLUB SONGWe are called the mighty lionsAnd we’re feared by one and allFrom the playing fields of Thornlie Park,We will watch the others fall. We’re rough and ruthless lions,And we’re feared by one and allThe more they try to conquer us,The harder they will fall.
